Why Mobile Investing Is Safe

The latest Internet technology helps to create secure communication.

A number of security measures are in place to protect your financial information. You can take additional steps by creating strong passwords and being aware of how T. Rowe Price communicates with you.

An advanced industry standard called 128-bit encryption scrambles data to prevent unauthorized access or eavesdropping on electronic data. Software converts your information into a string of random, meaningless symbols.
Complex combinations of letters, numbers, and symbols help to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
  • Combine uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Choose a "pass phrase" that will be easy for you to remember—but difficult for others to guess
  • Incorporate symbols in place of some of the letters
  • Change your password regularly
T. Rowe Price will never request your financial information via e-mail. Be cautious of any unsolicited communication that requests sensitive data, even if it comes from an e-mail that appears to be from the firm. BHS
