To help you better plan for tax season, here are the approximate mailing dates for T. Rowe Price account statements and tax forms and packages that may be necessary to complete your taxes.

We strongly recommend waiting to receive these forms before preparing your tax returns, so that you have the most up-to-date and complete information.

 
Mailing Schedule1 Form Explanation of Form
Early January Year-End Statement Reports distributions and activity in each fund account for the year, including any tax-free income and year-end balances for IRA accounts.
Late January Integrated Tax Package Taxable activity for mutual fund accounts, including Forms 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, 1099-B, and 1099-R.
  Form 1099-Q Reports distributions from qualified education programs, including state tuition plans and Coverdell Education Savings Accounts.
  Brokerage Tax Forms Taxable activity for brokerage accounts that have not received income from mutual funds will be sent under separate cover by Pershing LLC.
Mid-February Forms
1099-DIV and 1099-B
For the T. Rowe Price Real Estate Fund,
T. Rowe Price Global Real Estate Fund, and
T. Rowe Price Small-Cap Value Fund only.
  Brokerage Tax Forms Taxable activity for brokerage accounts that have received income from investments in mutual funds will be sent under separate cover by Pershing LLC.
Mid-March Form 1042-S Reports taxable dividends and income tax withheld on accounts owned by nonresident aliens.  
Late April Form
5498-ESA
Reports 2008 contributions and rollovers to Coverdell Education Savings Accounts.  
Mid-May Form 5498 Reports 2008 contributions to Traditional and Roth IRAs, SEP accounts, and SIMPLE accounts.  
1Year-end statements will be mailed to all shareholders. You also may receive the other forms listed, depending upon your investments.
